Infinix is set to introduce the GT 50 Pro to Indian buyers this month, adding another device to its gaming-focused smartphone range. The company has confirmed an October launch but is keeping the exact date secret for now.
The new model is expected to continue the series’ emphasis on fast displays, effective heat management and gaming performance. Infinix has also suggested that the launch could extend beyond the phone itself, with dedicated gaming accessories potentially joining the lineup.
Infinix GT 50 Pro India Launch Date
The GT 50 Pro is expected to arrive in India on October 27. Rather than reveal the date directly, the company introduced an online campaign in which users could help determine when the information would become public.
The campaign is running through a dedicated launch page on Infinix’s website. Visitors can contribute by clicking on a progress meter, with each interaction adding to a shared tally. The company said that the launch date will be disclosed when the meter reaches its designated goal.
The phone has already appeared in select international markets, where it was introduced in April this year. Its Indian launch will therefore mark a further step in the device’s rollout.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Hardware: Display, Processor, Cameras and Battery

In international markets, the Infinix GT 50 Pro offers a dual-SIM setup with two Nano-SIM slots. It runs XOS 16, which uses Android 16 as its base. The screen measures 6.78 inches and uses AMOLED LTPS technology, with a resolution of 1,208 x 2,644 pixels. Its refresh rate reaches 144Hz. Touch response goes up to 330Hz, or 2,800Hz in instant sampling mode. Infinix also claims peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
MediaTek supplies the processing hardware through its Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset. The phone pairs it with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and as much as 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. These components form the core of the device’s computing and graphics capabilities.
Photography relies on three cameras across the front and back. The main rear sensor captures images at 50 megapixels and combines an f/1.59 aperture with optical image stabilisation. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera provides a second view, using an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera has a 13-megapixel sensor for self-portraits and video calls.
The GT 50 Pro covers several connectivity standards. These include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, along with an FM radio, USB On-The-Go and a USB Type-C port. Its 6,500mAh battery supports wired charging at up to 45W. It can also deliver power to another device through 10W reverse wired charging. The handset measures 162.44mm in height, 77.23mm in width and 8.15mm in thickness. Its total weight is 198g.
Final Words
The Infinix GT 50 Pro looks set to take a strong shot at the Indian market with a blend of gaming hardware and accessories, though there is one key aspect that has yet to be revealed: the launch date. With a 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and a sizeable 6,500mAh battery, the phone certainly has the specifications to attract mobile gamers. The promised add-on features might make it sweeter, if they don’t have wallet-stretching price tags.
