As an SEO expert, I think it is our responsibility to raise people/customers “awareness of some of the issues associated with off-page SEO.

Here are 20 Steps How to Become an SEO Expert in 2020

#1: Community Building: This is the first step you take. Sign up to popular social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, Orkut, LinkedIn, and create a profile for your website. Connect with friends, share with them, and promote your business. This will help you boost your online reputation.

#2: Blogging: This is one of the most effective strategies for promoting your website online. Write a blog with unique content. To make it clear to your readers, but do not forget to promote your blog in blog search engines and blog directories, you can also post comments on other websites.

#3: Forums: If possible, create an online forum/discussion forum on your website. Invite your friends to start a new discussion. Post responses/threads in other related forums. Your signatures can provide valuable links.

#4: Search Engines Submission: This is a crucial step. Submit your site to popular search engines. Such as: Bing, Google, Yahoo, Althub, Alexa. Search engines can submit as much as you need.

#5: Submit Directories: Nowadays people think it is pointless to submit directories, but in my opinion, it is still alive. All you have to do is be careful in which directory you submit your site and in which section it is submitted. Strive to submitting your site to Zoominfo, DMOZ, a mission.

#6: Social Bookmarking: It can be a powerful tool, but don’t abuse it. People post content on social bookmarking sites without knowing how to use it. Manage tags properly. A few links below can give your SERPs a big boost.

#7: Exchanging Link: Try to exchange links with relevant sites. This can give your SERPs a big boost, but be careful with black hat strategies when exchanging links with other websites.

#19: CSS, W3C Directory Submission: If you offer website design or related services, submit your websites to the W3C and CSS Directory in addition to the RSS site.

#20: Gadget / Widget Development: Develop some interactive gadgets for your website. Publish them on your website/blog and another social networking site.
