LG has expanded its xboom lineup in India with the launch of two portable Bluetooth speakers, the xboom Bounce and the xboom Grab. Both models were created with the involvement of musician and technology entrepreneur will.i.am. The emphasis is on portability, while a range of AI features is meant to tailor the sound to the music and the listener’s surroundings.

AI-Powered Audio Meets Premium Speaker Engineering

The two speakers have been tuned by will.i.am and make use of AI-driven audio tools that adapt the output without requiring any input from the user. AI Sound studies the kind of audio being played and changes the tuning to bring out vocals, rhythm, or melody, depending on what the track demands.

Another feature, AI Calibration, measures the surrounding environment and adjusts the sound profile to suit it. AI Lighting matches the built-in light effects with the music as it plays. Both speakers also support LE Audio Auracast, making it possible for several compatible xboom devices to play the same audio stream together. LG has further partnered with Danish audio company Peerless, whose speaker drivers are fitted in both models.

xboom Bounce Focuses on Power, Durability, and Extended Playback

The xboom Bounce stands as the flagship model in the range. It comes with two dome tweeters, a track-style woofer, and passive radiators that move with the beat. LG has given it an IP67 rating for protection against water and dust. It also meets MIL-STD 810G durability standards. On a full charge, the speaker can run for as long as 30 hours.

xboom Grab Prioritises Portability Without Compromising Performance

The smaller xboom Grab puts portability first. It uses dual passive radiators to deliver stronger bass and includes straps that make it easier to carry from place to place. It carries the same IP67 rating and meets the same MIL-STD 810G durability standard. Battery life reaches up to 20 hours. LG says both speakers suit indoor and outdoor use, whether at home, on the road, or at small gatherings.

India Launch Details and When to Expect Pricing

LG has confirmed that the xboom Bounce and xboom Grab will arrive in India, though it has not disclosed their prices yet. The company plans to sell both models through its official website and authorised retail stores. More details, including pricing and the launch schedule, should follow in the near future.

Final Words

Portable audio is no longer all about volume and LG’s new xboom speakers demonstrate that. The xboom Bounce and xboom Grab are designed to make every playlist sound smarter, thanks to AI-powered sound tuning, adaptive lighting, rugged durability and long battery life, whether you’re relaxing at home or taking the party outdoors.

The collaboration with will.i.am and the inclusion of Peerless drivers also suggest that LG is putting more emphasis on audio quality than ever before. The feature list is definitely something to look forward to, although prices are still unknown. All that remains is for LG to announce the price and, hopefully, not make our wallets make the loudest bass drop of the year.

For now, these new speakers have already hit the sweet spot with their intelligent features and everyday usability.
