A Geekbench entry has offered an early indication of the hardware, listing the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 alongside 6GB of RAM.
Geekbench Listing Hints at Mivi One 5G Specifications
The handset appears in the Geekbench 7 database under the model designation Mivi MVNOE. The listing attributes its performance to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and records 6GB of RAM, while Android 16 is shown as the operating system. In testing, the device achieved 677 points in the single-core run and 1,490 points in the multi-core test. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is an older budget-oriented platform rather than a recently introduced chip.
Even so, it is designed to provide enough performance for everyday smartphone use and includes 5G capability. Its use could also serve a practical purpose for Mivi. By selecting an established lower-cost platform, the company may have more room to control the final price, especially while increasing memory costs are contributing to higher prices across the smartphone market.
Mivi has not said whether the Geekbench device is actually the One 5G. The hardware details therefore remain uncertain. Much of the phone is still a blank. Mivi has not announced the screen, camera setup, battery capacity or charging rate. These details may only become clear at launch.

This gives Mivi a chance to challenge better-known names such as Redmi, Realme and Motorola. But a low price and 5G alone may not be enough. The phone will also need a battery that lasts, software that stays clean and hardware that can be trusted. Mivi is not the only new entrant, either. Fire-Boltt has introduced the Boltt Ace and Boltt Evo. Philips has also moved into the category with the S7221 5G, priced at Rs 20,499.
Anyone considering a 5G handset under Rs 15,000 may want to hold off before buying one of the current options. The Mivi One could change the choice available at this price. Its appeal will largely rest on two things: 5G support and an affordable price. Both could matter in a market where the number of such phones has fallen.
