OPPO has begun revealing what it wants the F35 series to be known for ahead of its Indian debut. Its early focus is on the selfie camera, which is designed to cover more of the scene and handle skin tones in a more natural way.

The company has confirmed that the new phones will arrive on October 5th, while leaving the names and specifications of the individual models for another announcement. The camera system will be one of the more notable features of the new lineup.
OPPO says the series will use a 50MP ultrawide camera on the front, with a 100-degree field of view. It will also introduce NaturalTone 2.0, a technology intended to make photographed faces look closer to their natural appearance. On the F35 Pro, OPPO is promising another useful feature: 4K video recording through both the front and rear cameras.
How OPPO F35 Builds on the Legacy of the F Series in India
This continues a strategy that has been associated with OPPO’s F series for years. The company brought the OPPO F1 to India in 2016, at a time when selfie cameras were becoming an important part of smartphone marketing. OPPO may still have a different proposition. Reports claim that the F35 Pro could arrive with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display. The panel may run at 120Hz. A Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset could power the phone. The camera setup is also said to include a 50MP rear sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN5 autofocus camera for selfies. IP66, IP68 and IP69K ratings could provide further protection against dust and water. None of these details have been confirmed by OPPO yet.
The bigger question is the price. Reports place the F35 Pro between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000. That would mark a sizeable jump from the previous generation. The F33 launched at Rs 31,999, while the F33 Pro cost Rs 37,999. We also do not know whether OPPO will actually sell an F35 Pro. If it does, the company will need more than a large battery to justify the higher price. Camera quality, charging performance and everyday processor performance could matter more. The October 5th launch should settle those questions.
