Copy trading on Banana Gun Pro means selecting a target wallet from a live ranked list, setting a spend cap, and mirroring that wallet buys automatically. The entire flow runs inside the web terminal at pro.bananagun.io/app. This guide covers finding a verified top trader, reading their PNL card, configuring your copy trade settings, and monitoring everything from the COPY TRADE OVERVIEW widget.

What is Copy Trading on Banana Gun Pro?

Copy trading lets you automatically mirror another wallet token buys. When your target buys a token, your wallet executes the same trade based on the parameters you set. You control size, the total spend cap, and duration. The target never sees your activity.

On Base, Banana Gun Pro uses Base Flashblocks for block 0 copy trading. Base divides each roughly 2-second block into approximately ten 200ms sub-blocks, and block 0 means your copy trade fires in the same block as the original buy. For how block times compare across chains, see the copy trading chains and block times post.

Step 1: Log In to Banana Gun Pro

  1. Go to pro.bananagun.io/app.
  2. Click Connect and log in via Privy using Google, Twitter, or Telegram.
  3. Use the same login method every session. Switching methods creates a separate account and a separate wallet set.
  4. Fund your Base wallet with ETH on Base to cover gas and trade size.

Banana Gun Pro is non-custodial. Your keys live in your Privy wallet; the terminal never holds funds on your behalf.

Step 2: Find a Target Wallet Using the TOP TRADERS Widget

The TOP TRADERS widget shows the top 50 PNL traders for whichever token you have open. Open a token, then open the widget from the widget menu. Most users skip this and copy wallets from social media; that is a mistake.

The LABELS filter in the widget is the one that saves you from copying a bad actor. You can filter by:

  • Developer and Bundler: wallets that deployed or bundled the token at launch
  • Sniper: wallets that entered in block 0 or 1
  • Pump.fun buyers: wallets that bought before migration to Raydium
  • Dev connected and Cluster: wallets with known ties to insiders
  • Top traders: highest PNL performers across the token history
  • Top holders: current large bag holders by percentage

Developer and Dev Connected labels mean information asymmetry, not tradeable skill. Filter those out first. The BALANCE bands (under $1K, $1K-$10K, over $10K) help you find traders operating at a comparable size.

Step 3: Read the PNL Card and Copy in One Click

Hover over any MAKER address in the TOP TRADERS table. A PNL card appears showing that wallet trade history and realized profit on this token. The one-click button at the bottom opens the COPY TRADE widget pre-filled with that address.

Before clicking, check the PNL card for sell patterns. A wallet that buys low, holds through distribution, and sells in stages is a fundamentally different target than one that dumps 90% in the first 30 minutes. The card shows both sides.

Step 4: Configure Your Copy Trade Settings

The COPY TRADE widget has three modes. Start with Simple and move to Advanced once you understand what each parameter does.

Simple Mode

  1. Confirm the TARGET WALLET address (auto-filled if you came from the PNL card) and the funding wallet to use.
  2. Add a name so you can track this copy trade in the overview.
  3. Set MAX BUY: the per-transaction cap. If the target buys 5000 USD worth and your MAX BUY is 200 USD, you buy 200 USD.
  4. Set SPEND LIMIT: the total cap across all trades copied from this target. Once hit, the copy trade pauses automatically.
  5. Set SLIPPAGE to accommodate the token liquidity depth on the relevant Base DEX: Uniswap, Aerodrome, Baseswap, Sushiswap, or Pancakeswap.
  6. Set DURATION in hours.
  7. Confirm MEV Tip if you want faster block inclusion.

Advanced Mode

Advanced mode adds parameters that change copy behavior at the trade level. The most useful ones:

  • Buy Only Once: copies only the first buy signal from that target. The token is then automatically added to your BLOCKED tab to prevent re-entry.
  • Buy Percent: if the target buys 1 ETH and you set 20%, your order fires for 0.2 ETH.
  • Buy Fixed: ignores the target trade size and fires a fixed amount every time.
  • Copy Sell: mirrors the target sell transactions in addition to buys. Use this only with targets you have vetted thoroughly.
  • Min/Max Market Cap: filters out trades on tokens above or below a cap threshold.
  • MEV Tip: toggle on for faster block inclusion on congested Base DEXes.

Advanced Presets

Presets save time if you copy trade regularly. Create named configurations in the CREATE PRESETS section and load them before executing. You can override any field at execution time.

Step 5: Monitor from the COPY TRADE OVERVIEW Widget

Open the COPY TRADE OVERVIEW widget. It has three tabs:

  • ACTIVE: shows every running copy trade with Target Wallet, Description, amount Spent so far, Ends In (countdown in hours), and Status. From here you can pause, resume, stop, edit, or review any trade.
  • HISTORY: filterable by DATE, TOKEN, TYPE, AMOUNT, and CONTRACT ADDRESS. Use this to audit what was actually executed versus what you expected.
  • BLOCKED: lists tokens blocked from re-entry, primarily populated by Buy Only Once. Check this tab if a copy trade is not firing on a token you expected.

Stopping removes the target from the active menu entirely. Pausing keeps the configuration intact.

Vetting a Target Before You Copy: The Step Most People Skip

Banana Gun Pro own documentation flags this directly: target wallets can turn malicious at any time. A trader who was profitable last week may start using copy traders as exit liquidity this week, buying into a low-liquidity token and selling into the copy buy wave.

Before locking in any target, run the wallet address through an external scanner to review 30 to 90 days of activity. Check whether recent wins involved tokens held for more than a few hours, or a pattern of buy-and-dump within the same candle. Use the LABELS in TOP TRADERS to disqualify insider-connected wallets before you open the PNL card. Set a conservative SPEND LIMIT for the first session with any new target, and keep Buy Only Once on while you assess.

Copy trading on Banana Gun amplifies your exposure to another trader decisions, including their bad ones. The controls above exist precisely because the product team has seen what happens when users copy without guardrails.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you copy trade on Banana Gun Pro?

Open the COPY TRADE widget at pro.bananagun.io/app, enter a target wallet address, set your MAX BUY and SPEND LIMIT, choose Simple or Advanced mode, and confirm. The terminal mirrors the target buys automatically within the parameters you set. You can pause or stop any active copy trade from the COPY TRADE OVERVIEW widget at any time.

How do you find top traders to copy?

Open the TOP TRADERS widget for any token inside Banana Gun Pro. It lists the top 50 PNL traders for that token. Use the LABELS filter to exclude developers, bundlers, snipers, and dev-connected wallets. Hover any MAKER address to see a full PNL card. The one-click button at the bottom of that card opens the COPY TRADE widget pre-filled with that address.

What is one-click copy trading?

One-click copy trading refers to the button on the TOP TRADERS PNL card. When you hover a wallet address in the TOP TRADERS widget, a card appears showing that wallet trade history and profit on the current token. Clicking the button opens and pre-fills the COPY TRADE widget with the target address, skipping the manual entry step entirely.

How do you manage active copy trades?

Use the COPY TRADE OVERVIEW widget, which has three tabs: ACTIVE, HISTORY, and BLOCKED. The ACTIVE tab shows every running copy trade with spend progress, time remaining, and status. From there you can pause, resume, stop, edit, or review each trade individually. The HISTORY tab lets you filter past copy trades by date, token, type, amount, or contract address.
