With your tassels and pasties, bump n’ grind or shimmy on down to one of the burlesque shows in the city. Whether you reveal everything, this evening is primarily about exploring the art of undressing. At these top 10 burlesque Chicago, the performers await your presence (and their cheers).

1. Bordel | 1721 W Division St

Bordel is a great old-time game. Bordel Cabaret and Cocktail Bar add a sexy touch to your burlesque evening with nefarious and naughty activities. The Bordel enclave, dimly lit with velvet-tufted couches and lounge areas, brings together talented dancers and jazz musicians (along with crafted cocktails).

2. The Drifter | 676-8 N Orleans St

Upon entering the Green Door Tavern, you’ll smell pub grub and see eclectic Chicago memorabilia. Are there burlesque shows in Chicago? It is not advisable to judge a burlesque venue by its cover. A burlesque Chicago experience you never knew existed underneath the Green Door Tavern. Experience Chicago’s best-kept speakeasy, The Drifter. Those who want to experience 1920s prohibition-era vibes with underground undressing should check out The Drifter!

3. Untitled Supper Club – 111 W Kinzie St

On Thursdays at Untitled Supper Club, Jay Gatsby has nothing to do. Chicago’s River North Neighborhood gets burlesque in this club. Every Thursday evening, Untitled hosts Chicago’s largest burlesque show, Unbridled. Reservations are highly recommended for dinner. Take in River North’s underground burlesque with a variety of their famed whiskeys (or perhaps a Michelin-starred dish).

4. Foundation Room | 329 N Dearborn St

We know the foundation Room at House of Blues Chicago for its intimate, yet risque burlesque shows. You don’t want to miss the show; get there early! A burlesque performance at the Foundation Room is electrifying, from the lighting and drinks to the sultry attire (or lack thereof!). Each show has its own interpretation.

5. The California Clipper – 1002 N California Ave

In a cozy space with refined drinks, The California Clipper in Chicago is ideal for watching burlesque shows in a space that dates back to the 1930s. There is a $10 cover charge for the Clipper Cabaret at California Clipper every first Tuesday of the month. Besides the top-level talent, Eva La Feva keeps the atmosphere buzzing with excitement for burlesque.

6. The Original Mother’s | 26 W Division St

Clark and Division seem to inspire people for evenings of debauchery; have you seen all the bars lining the streets? Despite all this, you must check out The Original Mother’s bar in the middle of it all. Are you looking for more conversation and less undressing? The frontmost section of the bar is the best place to hang out. Are you looking for more nudity and less talking? Return to the starting point. You will enjoy the crowd’s 1980s flair and raunchy burlesque performance complete with exposed pipes (and more!)
