Outsourcing is the new buzzword in the business world today. Every year we see more and more companies adopting this trend for different areas of their businesses and IT being the most common.
Areas like software development, Auto CAD design, Digital Marketing, Web development, engineering etc see more and more companies adopting this trend because of the ever growing demand for skilled and qualified professionals. This is especially true in countries like US, Europe and Canada where skilled professionals charge exorbitantly for these services. Moreover it’s not always easy to find the right professional to hire in-house.

Therefore companies look to outsource these services to companies who are have the workforce and the capability to carry out such tasks in return for a fee. This not only works out cheaper than managing tasks in-house but also gives them access to a large talent pool of skilled professionals from a distant location or geography at almost fraction of the cost. However the cost involved depends obviously on a lot of factors like geographical location of the workforce, manpower required, infrastructural support needed, level of expertise for the task etc.

As far as cost is concerned, one needs to be mindful of the country where the outsourcing company is based. For instance, a company in US would definitely benefit from outsourcing the task/project to a company from countries like India, Philippines, China etc as skilled labour is cheaper in these countries than in the west.
