The battle of the gaming consoles finally continues this year with the release of both Microsoft’s and Sony’s new flagship consoles; the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 – their latest release since 2013. It has been a battle ever since they have been competing against each other to try and claim the number one spot since the original Xbox and PlayStation 1 but today we access which console pre-release looks the most exciting.

The battle continues between these tech giants this fall with both Microsoft and Sony coming out and stating that they will be releasing their consoles “Holiday Season 2020”. They haven’t quite released full details on performance for both consoles as of yet. The PS5 will be using AMD chips across the board including an eight-core CPU system which on paper is actually slightly less powerful than that of the Xbox Series X CPU. When it comes to GPU, that will also be made by AMD for the PS5 and will go head to head with the Xbox GPU in terms of TFLOPS and GHz.

Due to the increased performance of technology, gaming isn’t the online industry which has benefitted from this, for example, online casinos such as here at The Best Casinos has also benefitted from this with online casinos now being able to benefit from the usability of mobile phones. Furthermore, with the deals that they are offering such as unbeaten welcome bonuses for all new players, fast withdrawals for all wins and huge deposit matches, its no wonder they have seen a rise in traffic.

One interesting fact that both Microsoft and Sony have come out and that that they will be releasing two different types of consoles – disk and digital. Of course, we are accustomed to the disk version in which as stated on the tin, we would by a disk and play. However, with they now coming out with digital version only where you buy a game and just download it, you can stay within the comfort of your own house without having to move a muscle – as long as you have good internet speeds anyway. Another benefit of this is that both console creators have come out and said that this version will be cheaper.
