To get in on the best Amazon Prime Day deals, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member. The good news is, even if you don’t have an Amazon Prime membership you can still scoop up big discounts from the competition — no paid membership required.

While the official dates for Prime Day are July 12 and 13, we’re already seeing early deals roll in for Amazon Prime members — and other businesses have already begun announcing competing sales. In the past we’ve seen concurrent events from Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and a host of other retailers, effectively turning Prime Day into a mid-summer Black Friday, with rival companies hoping to secure a slice of the action.

Whether you’re in the market for a new gadget or household appliance for yourself or you’re hoping to make a headstart on gifts given during the holiday season, Prime Day is a great time to pick up some hefty discounts.

We are constantly on the lookout for interesting deals at competing retailers. Below, you will find every great deal we’ve found so far and ZDNet will be continually updating this list as more bargains appear on the market.

Newegg FantasTech sale

Newegg’s 8th annual FantasTech Sale begins with a pre-sale event starting on July 5, while the official sale runs from July 11 to 15. You’ll find discounts on laptops, PC components, and other tech-related products.

Newegg will once again offer FantasTech Price Protection for select items during the pre-sale time period. If the price of an eligible pre-sale product drops during the official sale, you’ll receive an automatic refund for the difference to your original form of payment.

Amazon Prime Day starts at 3 AM EDT on July 12 and runs through July 13. Early Prime Day deals start on June 21, including up to 50% off Fire TV and 55% off select Amazon devices. Most of the alternative Prime Day sales will happen around the same time.

At the moment, very few sales have been announced outside of Target Deal Days, which will run from July 11 to July 13. We’ll add more sales as they are announced. Be sure to check back with us in the coming days and weeks.

Prime Day deals are only available to Amazon Prime members, costing $14.99 a month or $139 for an annual membership. You typically don’t have to subscribe to an Amazon Prime alternative to qualify for deals from other retailers.

Earlier this summer, Walmart treated Walmart+ members to a special weekend of deals. But in the past, Walmart’s anti-Prime Day sales have been open to anyone.

Many retailers have jumped on the Prime Day event as a chance to hold their own sale events.

If looking for discounts on tech, electronics, home office gadgets, and more, we’ve rounded up a selection of sales that may pique your interest in the lead-up to the main event. Have a look below:
