Tesla X is a mid-size crossover made by Tesla Inc. A concept-car was presented in 2012 and production started in 2015. The car is built on the platform of Tesla Model S. Its body has 5 doors and can be equipped with up to 7 seats. It is worth noting that Falcon Wing doors, which open upwards, are installed at the rear. This function eases getting out of the vehicle in narrow spaces. As well as other modern models of the company, Model X has all-wheel drive, in which both axles are driven by a separate electric motor. The Dual Motor system ensures instant control of traction and torque.

The manufacturing company proclaims the model the Quickest SUV, as it accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds. It has very low drag coefficient of 0.25. Depending on a version, Model X can drive up to 490 or 523 km on one charge.

The car won “Reader’s Choice Green Car of the Year” and “Luxury Utility Vehicle of the Year” awards in 2015. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) marked the model with 5 of 5 possible stars for safety. The car has luxurious interior and elegant exterior lines, which stand it out among other vehicles. VEHICLE SPARES for TESLA can you find by Sparepartstore24.co.uk

Tesla Model X had set the Guinness World Record as the “heaviest tow by an electric production passenger vehicle”. The car towed Boeing 787-900 aircraft for about 300 metres in Melbourne Airport.

Tesla Inc. is building a network of charging stations for its cars – Tesla Superchargers – which can be used for Tesla models only. A Supercharger station charges Tesla cars quickly, providing up to 290 km of range.
