Haier has introduced a fresh range of home appliances in India, spanning laundry, television and refrigeration. The centrepiece is the M3 washing machine lineup, which uses artificial intelligence to manage different washing tasks. The company has also added the M70 and M96 Mini LED televisions to its catalogue, alongside a new refrigerator with five doors, called the In-Vista.

The launch took place at Haier’s “Elevate with Haier” event in Greater Noida. According to Haier India CEO NS Satish, the company intends to bring new technology to the country while keeping its products relevant to the changing demands of Indian households. He said the latest offerings reflected this approach.

Haier’s M3 Washing Machines Bring AI to Everyday Laundry

The M3 series takes a different approach to laundry by combining three drums in one appliance. The largest can accommodate 10kg of clothes, while the other two are designed for loads of just 1kg each. This arrangement allows users to handle different kinds of garments at once without putting them through the same wash cycle.

The machine’s AI Wash system modifies the cycle to suit the load, and Essence Wash prepares a mixture of water and detergent before washing starts. The feature list also includes Smart Dosing, Quick Clean, a colour touchscreen and wireless control through Wi-Fi. Haier provides four years of comprehensive warranty coverage, with an additional 12-year warranty for the motor. The 12kg version is available at Rs 1,30,000.

Gamers also get support for refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The television runs Google TV and includes Gemini support. Screen sizes range from 43 inches to 85 inches. The starting price is Rs 39,490.

At the top end, Haier offers the M96 in 100-inch and 115-inch versions. The starting price is Rs 4,19,990. Both sizes feature SQD Mini LED technology and a 6.2.2-channel speaker system. The In-Vista is Haier’s latest addition to its refrigerator range. Its five-door design separates storage into five zones, giving users more flexibility in organising food. A convertible compartment can operate at temperatures between -20°C and 5°C.

Haier has placed the heat-exchange system underneath the refrigerator, so users can install it without leaving space on either side. The appliance costs Rs 2,59,990. It also supports food management through an app and includes ice dispensing and sterilisation functions.

Haier has priced its Velox water heater from Rs 13,990. Buyers can choose between 15-litre and 25-litre models. The company has also introduced the Halo chimney for kitchens. It draws in air at a rate of 2,000 cubic metres per hour and includes smoke detection and automatic cleaning. Prices start at Rs 23,000. Haier sells these products through its website and retail outlets across India.

Final Words

Haier is definitely making an effort to introduce smarter, feature-laden appliances to Indian homes with the M3 washing machines, M70 and M96 televisions and the In-Vista refrigerator. The AI-powered washing machine lineup is the star of the show, offering greater flexibility in laundry management without making the chore of washing clothes a household nightmare.

In the meantime, the new TVs appeal to everyone from the binge-watcher to the gamer, and the five-door refrigerator is a new twist on food storage. But there’s a price to premium features. The M3’s 12kg variant is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh, while the In-Vista refrigerator is priced at Rs 2.59 lakh, which makes them definitely in the aspirational category.

It is yet to be seen whether Indian buyers are ready to pay a premium for the more intelligent appliances. At the moment, Haier’s newest range reveals that the future of home appliances is becoming smarter, larger and far better equipped to deal with everyday chores.
